The main "sex on premises" venues are the saunas, sex clubs, and adult bookshops or video arcades. Most of the saunas have wet areas (sauna, spa, steam), cubicles, video lounges and coffee shops. The sex clubs have meeting and cruising areas, "rest" areas, and usually a coffee area - some even have Internet access! The adult shops (and many of the sex clubs) have videos, toys and sex aids for sale and usually have video or cruising arcades. The more services the shop provides, the closer it becomes to being a sex club!

Gay Saunas

Canberra City Steam 1 Sargood St, O'Connor Shops Many claim the name is inappropriate as the place has no steamroom, but it does have sauna and spa, and is currently the only choice if you want a sauna in Canberra! Open till 1:00 AM weekdays and till 3:00 AM Friday and Saturday.

Gay Sex Clubs

Champions Mologlo Mall, Fishwyck Open nightly till midnight, admission $8. Mostly suburban bi crowd - but "crowd" is misleading accoriding to a recent (April 2000) visitor!
