I was a bit busy last month, so no book review, but this month a classic reference book if you have a bizarre mind and a taste for trivia like I do!

If you already know that that the word "heterosexual" once referred to men and women who engaged in the "morbid sexual perversion" of sex for nonprocreative purposes then you obviously don't need this book, but if you have ever wondered about the origins of such things as condoms, drag, vibrators, or even words such as queer and faggot then this is the book for you.

Charles Panati actually has an interesting history of writing "origin of" type books, but this is the most interesting yet - the origin of chocolate or croissants explored in earlier volumes isn't in quite the same league as the origin of the "blow job" and other delightful things as explored here!!
